A college is more than its classes. After graduation, you may remember the people you met and the connections you made as much as the training you received. At the Moorhead, MN, campus of Minnesota School of Business (MSB), our Student Services Department offers opportunities to learn outside the classroom. It also provides services that enhance your success as a student.

We make sure our students have fun
Student Services staff coordinates popcorn and treats during exams, Student Appreciation events and off-campus volunteering. We arrange potlucks, chili contests and fund-raising bake sales. We have raffles and drawings, including drawings for free textbooks and MSB sweatshirts. We run contests, including weight-loss contests, and award prizes to students whose friends come to class with them and subsequently enroll.
Extra-curricular activities
You may participate in non-classroom activities that strengthen the connections you make in class. Whichever program you take, you will probably find a student group. And if we don’t have one, our student services coordinator can help you start one! Student organization activities include vet tech students fund-raising for a local animal shelter, massage therapy students organizing free massage days and business students competing in DEX events.
But it’s not all fun and games…
Student services staff members provide a variety of services that contribute to student success. We have lists of resources for students that cover housing, counseling and wellness. We arrange for tutors and coordinate workshops in writing, math ― whatever our students need. We occasionally hire student workers, who fill office jobs, take care of vet lab animals and work as tutors.
