At the Moorhead campus of Minnesota School of Business (MSB), students may go to college, work or serve in the military ― for some students, all at the same time! Others focus exclusively on school, graduating in less time that at a traditional college or university.

Are you ready for college?
Some seniors think they aren’t ready for college. Our campus has a strong support system designed to help students succeed. We offer writing workshops, library instruction and free tutoring. Our classes are small, allowing students opportunities to receive assistance from their instructors. You are never a number here ― we know your name and we care about your success.
Flexible schedules to meet your needs
Many students continue to work while they attend school. Because we offer part-time options and evening classes, we are able to accommodate student schedules. Students are also able to complete some classes through our online college and others at our Moorhead campus. Of course, they can also complete many programs entirely online. These options allow them to make progress toward degrees or diplomas despite demanding jobs and family responsibilities.
Scholarships for high school seniors
A common question for high school seniors is how they will pay for college. Because they believe they can’t afford college, they sometimes don’t even investigate their options. At MSB-Moorhead, our financial aid coordinators help prospective students with financial aid, including loans, grants and scholarships from a variety of sources.
Our college offers programs and scholarships just for high school seniors and recent graduates. These include the following:
- President’s Scholarship for Graduating Seniors. If you have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, you may be eligible for this scholarship. Apply before January 1st to qualify for the $2,000 award; apply before April 1st to qualify for the $1,000 award.
- Director’s Scholarship. If you enroll in an MSB program, you may take the Career Profile Assessment test (CPAt), offered six times throughout the year. Depending on your CPAt score, you may be eligible to receive up to $5,000.

Enjoy the High School Advantage: A high school senior with a GPA of 2.0 or higher who enrolls in a bachelor’s or associate degree program at our Moorhead campus may be qualified to take up to four courses tuition-free (one course per quarter).
