Two-year degrees at our Fargo-Moorhead college
We offer associate degree programs in the following areas:
- Accounting and Tax Specialist. Graduates are ready for opportunities as accountants, tax specialists and business consultants.
- Management Accounting. Students prepare for positions in payroll, billing, payables and receivables.
- Business Administration. Students prepare for practical work in management, marketing or accounting. They have the technical and communication skills they need for success in many industries.
- Cosmetology Business. If you have a cosmetology license, you can leverage it to earn an associate’s degree. You can acquire the business knowledge needed to own or manage a salon or spa or become a beauty industry representative.
- Information Technology. Students gain a fundamental understanding of the core disciplines in IT. They are prepared for positions in network support and software development.
- Massage Therapy. Students learn a wide variety of techniques and are prepared for entry-level positions as massage therapists.
- Medical Administrative Assistant. Students look forward to positions as medical secretaries and administrative assistants in health care settings.
- Medical Assistant. This program prepares students to assist physicians in delivering health care services to clients. Graduates are ready to perform administrative, clinical and laboratory procedures and communicate effectively with patients, doctors and administrative staff.
- Paralegal. This associate degree program provides comprehensive paralegal training that prepares students for entry-level positions in law firms, courts and corporations.
- Sales & Marketing. Graduates are ready for entry-level positions as sales and marketing professionals in large organizations or in their own small businesses.
- Veterinary Technology. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions as veterinary technicians. They learn skills in client communication, office management, patient care and veterinarian support.
Degree requirements
Each associate degree program requires students to complete general education courses that strengthen their communication skills and analytical abilities. They also take core classes in the subject area of their degrees as well as courses on career development and business.
Program length
Many students complete 2-year degrees in 18-21 months of full-time study. If they receive credit for prior learning or work experience, they are able to reduce the number of classes required for their degree programs, saving themselves time and money.
