At the Moorhead campus of Minnesota School of Business (MSB), we offer bachelor of science (BS) degrees in several high-demand fields. Each can prepare you for a rewarding career.
Complete a ‘4-year’ degree in three years
At a traditional college, a bachelor’s degree is considered a four-year degree. At MSB, we want to get you into the workplace as quickly as possible. Our bachelor’s degree programs can be completed in three years of full-time study. If you receive credit for prior learning or work experience, you may be able to complete your program even more quickly, saving time and money. Our bachelor’s degree programs
We offer Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in the following fields:
- Accounting. A 4-year degree in accounting prepares you both for entry level accounting positions today and advancement tomorrow. Students in this program are able sit for the CPA exam in Minnesota after they graduate.
- Business Administration. A business administration bachelor’s degree is the often the starting place for a successful career in many types of businesses and industries.
- Business Management. Our 4-year business management degree program allows you to focus on a specific area, developing expertise in that industry. The emphasis areas available at our college are:
- Agricultural Business
- Finance
- Hospitality Management
- Human Resource Management
- Marketing
- Criminal Justice. Earn your bachelor's or associate degree and prepare for a great career in law enforcement support, field investigation, juvenile justice, private security, surveillance or corrections.
- Health Care Management. (Online only) Prepare for a career in health care administration with this BS degree. Graduates are ready for entry-level management positions in many areas of the health care industry.
- Information Technology¸ Students acquire the skills and knowledge to manage technology in a variety of industries and organizations.
- Paralegal. Many legal employers require a paralegal to have a bachelor’s degree. Working under the direction of an attorney, paralegals perform a wide variety of tasks, including research, legal writing and client contact.
Online option for our bachelor’s degree program
Our four-year degree programs are available through our online college. Students are able to complete assignments, review lecture materials and communicate with instructors and classmates – all online. Students may continue working while earning their degrees and reduce the cost of commuting and childcare – just some of the ways that distance learning helps students achieve their goals. And our college provides a strong support system for online students so that technical problems never stand in the way learning.
Degree requirements
Bachelor’s degree program requirements vary. However, each requires a student to complete general education courses that strengthen communication skills and analytical abilities. Each also requires a student to take core courses in the subject area of the degree as well as courses on career development and business.
