Business administration degree programs

Students at our Moorhead, MN, college can complete the following degree and diploma programs:

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BS). Many students complete this “four-year” degree program in three years of full-time study. They take a variety of basic and intermediate business classes that cover topics such as the following:

  • Accounting
  • Supervision
  • Business law
  • Small business management
  • Finance
  • Human resource management
  • Marketing
  • Leadership
  • Ethics in business
  • Investments

They also complete general education and business courses in writing and communications, social science, natural science and humanities. They are prepared for entry-level administrative and management positions in business, government, education and non-profits.

Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration (AAS). Students can complete this two-year degree in 21 months of full-time study. They are prepared for entry-level position in management, marketing or accounting. They study business methods, procedures and communication skills. Courses cover topics such as the following:

  • Keyboarding and MS Office
  • Supervision
  • Business law
  • Small business
  • Marketing
  • Consumer behavior

They also complete general education courses that prepare them for today’s diverse workplaces. Graduates know how to analyze and present complex business information.

Online options available

Our business admin degree programs are available through our online college. Students who thought they had no time for school complete bachelor’s and associate degree programs while working full-time or caring for their families. They can study whenever and wherever they find time and Internet connections. They may even save money on gas or childcare. Distance learning makes career training possible for many students.
