A criminal justice career allows you to make a difference. At Minnesota School of Business-Moorhead, we offer online associate and bachelor's degree programs that prepares you for working in this challenging and rewarding field. As a graduate, you will have the knowledge and skills you need to become a corrections officer or a courtroom official.

2-year of 4-year online degree programs

Bachelor’s degree (BS). Students can complete this “4-year” degree in 36 months if they study full-time. They are prepared for careers in juvenile justice, victim advocacy, corrections and many other areas within the criminal justice field. They have the option to complete an internship that can give them invaluable hands-on experience.

Associate degree (AAS). Students can complete this “2-year” degree in 18 months of full-time study. They are prepared for a variety of entry-level positions, including law enforcement support staff, corrections officer and investigator. Graduates of this associate degree program can return to school to earn our BS degree in criminal justice. Most of their credits will transfer smoothly to the next level.

Employment as a law enforcement officer may require additional training as determined by your state’s Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). The criminal justice program at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business does not fulfill Minnesota POST requirements; however, it does qualify in some other states. Our program staff can advise you and help you identify suitable training opportunities.
