Students
At Minnesota School of Business (MSB)-Moorhead, eligible students may receive scholarships that help them pay for the cost of their educations. We offer scholarships to high school students, military students and others. We work with them as they identify additional sources of scholarship funding so they can achieve their educational goals.

Scholarships for military students
At MSB, we honor the service of members of the US armed forces and the sacrifices of their families. Our college offers scholarships to eligible military students, including active duty and veteran personnel as well as family members and dependents.
- Active Duty Military Scholarship: Pay only $250 per credit after the scholarship is applied
- Military Advantage Scholarship: 10% discount on tuition and books for active duty personnel, veterans and dependents
- Military Service Scholarship: Up to $5000 for severely injured veterans and family members
- Purple Heart Scholarship: Service members wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan and family members of those killed in those conflicts receive awards that cover tuition and fees remaining after other benefits
Scholarships for high school students
We offer the following scholarships to eligible high school students:
- President's Scholarship: Up to $2000 for early enrollment
- Director's Academic Scholarship: Up to $5000, determined by performance on the CPAt (Career Profile Assessment test)
- High School Advantage: Tuition-free college courses for high school seniors
Miscellaneous scholarships
We award college scholarships to students who are studying certain subjects or who represent specific populations. A student may be eligible for one of the following programs:
- Dream Act Scholarship: Up to 50% of program cost for undocumented graduates of Minnesota high schools
- Cosmetology Business Scholarship: $2000 award for graduates of Minnesota School of Cosmetology
- Business Alliance Scholarship: Up to $5000 for an employee of a GU/MSB Business Alliance partner
- Professional Certification Scholarship: Reimburses the cost of certification examinations
- Community Service Scholarship: $2000 annually to students who have performed community service
